MAKING IT MATTER: Forming leaders for youth

“The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.”
— Steven Spielberg

Ensure that your adult volunteers are prepared to serve youth to the best of their ability.  Making it Matter offers catechists, mission trip leaders, committee members, coaches - all adults who work with youth- an opportunity to develop skills, gain resources and develop a support network so they can help youth to make it matter!

All of our sessions provide hands on opportunities.  Participants will be formed in the topic as well as acquire strategies and activities to use with youth immediately.  You can select the session and the timing of the sessions.  Choose an evening, morning or entire day of leader formation, dialogue and prayer.  Offer these sessions as a parish, or work collaboratively as a cluster or dean.  You can select from the following sessions.  Please contact us if you have an alternate session in mind.
